Ensor was a lifelong member of Jasper First Church of the Nazarene, where he served as Sunday School teacher and board member. He touched lives with compassion and caring during his career as a funeral director at both Collins-Burke Funeral Home in Jasper, and Bell Funeral Home in Sumiton. He leaves a legacy of selfless devotion as a loving husband and precious daddy.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Ervin and Josie Ensor, and brothers, Herman Ensor and Jim Ensor.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Anna L. Ensor; daughters, Pat Bowden and Carol Patilla of Jasper; son, Henry Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Northport; grandson, Bobby Bowden and his wife, Teresa, of Mason, Ohio; granddaughters, Allyssa and Summer Ensor of Northport; and sister, Nellie Gray of Jasper.
Pallbearers will be Don Gray, Harold Wade, James Wade, Bobby Bowden, Britt Bee and Ronald Fulton.
The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the staff of Alacare Home Health and Hospice, and to those who provided outstanding home care, Naquita Gibson, Ida Dickerson, Valeria Ingram and Shawn Gillott.
