Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2010 at 3 p.m. at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the Dutton Hill Cemetery. Rev. Rick Fesperman will officiate, Collins-Burke Funeral Home will direct.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 13, 2010 from 1 until 3 p.m. at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Monroe C. Nolen; parents, Walter L. and Gertrude Sandlin Burton; four sisters, Jessie Bea Fielding, Ruby Walker, Lorene Tingle, and Carolyn Dodd; brothers, Jim and Raymond Burton; granddaughter, Rebecca Smith; and three infant grandchildren.
She is survived by her five daughters, Marie Powell (Billy Smith), Betty Harper (David), Lula Clements, Rena Lawson (Larry), Melissa Dreher (Doug); son, Jimmy Nolen (Debra), 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and her church family at Praise Tabernacle.
