The Rev. Charlie Wayne Hamilton, 68, of Cordova, died Sunday, June 20, 2010, at his residence. Funeral services will be today, June 22, at noon at Collins-Burke Funeral Home with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Visitation will be today from 11 a.m. to time of service at the funeral home. The Rev. Dale Jacks and the Rev. Donald Hyche will officiate.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Hamilton; mother, Mattie Ann Pierce; and brother, Willis Randolph Hamilton.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Hyche Hamilton; daughters, Crystal Hamilton Schmidt and Anita Hamilton Willis; sons, Keith Hamilton; sisters, Genetta Faye Blackwell, Sybil Ann Jones, Wanda Dale Morris and Carol Shirlene Dismukes; brothers, Herman Curtis Hamilton and Raymond Willard Hamilton; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be J.J. Creel, Ray Madison, Danny Bankston, Richie Alexander, Ed Earp, Keith Barnett and Greg Barnett.
