The award, for which more than 2,600 Healthmart pharmacies nationwide are eligible, recognizes pharmacies with strong commitments to their community and customers.
“We very honored to have received the award,” Jennifer Weathers, DMEPOS coordinator at Glover Drugs said. “It’s based upon community outreach programs the store offers, along with the volume of the store, and personalized care of its customers. To be awarded such a prestigious honor as part of the Healthmart family lets us know we are helping our community out.”
“It’s a group effort through many people,” Ken Glover said.
“Everyone from the employees, to the support of the community and to the McKesson and Healthmart organizations are all a part of the team that helped us achieve this. We’ve all done it together,” Glover added.
As part of their continuing Diabetes Educational awareness programs, Glover Drugs held a free Diabetes Class on Thursday.
