Linda Crockett, a spokesperson for the ALDOT, said a traffic study recently conducted in the area is being reviewed by ALDOT engineers.
“It’s going to be quite a while,” Crockett said about the work. Although she said the improvements are not expected to be started this year, she said it is too early to speculate when road refurbishments would be performed.
“Because of the environmental study, we really don’t want to say a date right now,” said Crockett who added that the ALDOT should have a better idea of when the work would be done in about four or five months.
