Demi Brooke Lackey of Boaz and Richard Allen Ruble II, of Jasper were married on June 12, 2010 at the Broken Arrow Golf Club in Scottsboro with The Rev. Marvin Porter officiating the 6 p.m. ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Kenny and Gina Lackey of Boaz. She is the grandaughter of Jimmy and Janet Odell, Polly Lackey and the late C.S. Lackey, Jr. She is also the great granddaughter of Sue Green all of Boaz.

Parents of the groom are Richard and Belinda Ruble of Jasper. He is the grandson of Carl and Joyce Fitch of Lexington, Ky. and Albert and Betty Ruble of Morgantown, W.Va.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a taffeta side draped trumpet gown with empire waist and beaded sweetheart neckline with a chapel train. Her pearl-edged fingertip veil was made by her Aunt Lisa Holland. She carried a cut flower bouquet of purple hydrangeas and magnolia leaves wrapped with strings of pearls.

The bride was attended by Tiffany Bright of Albertville as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Sara Ruble, sister of the groom; Allison and Lesley Fitch, cousins of the groom; Shena Bonds and Ashley Cornutt.

The father and brother of the groom served as best men, Richard and Brandon Ruble of Jasper. Groomsmen were Jake Lackey, brother of the bride; Scott Fitch, uncle of the groom; Nick Cagle, Kyle Hendon and Steven Wingo.

Ringbearer was Dylan Odell of Crossville, cousin of the Bride.

The closing prayer of the ceremony was given by The Rev. Bill Lackey, uncle of the Bride.

The couple resides in Helena.
