He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Brooks; brothers, Ronnie Brooks, Richard Brooks and Lloyd Brooks; and sisters, Paulette Southworth, Dorthy Brooks and Catherine Farrell.
He is survived by his mother, Jessie Brooks; daughter, Denise Tingle; son, Michael Brooks; sisters, Juanita Jewel Herron of Jasper, Debra McLain (Frank) of Jasper and Edna Walker (Frank) of Oklahoma; and brothers, Larry Brooks of Jasper and Olen Brooks of Mobile.
Pallbearers will be Devin Herron, Joe Huffman Jr., Johnny Herron Jr., Ricky Brooks, Jeff Murray and Mike Cain.
