He was a member of the NRA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Dolores Watson; wife, Delinda Carol Watson; and brothers, Jackie Watson, Aurther Watson and Huel Watson.
He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Carol Watson Gutierrez of Phil Campbell; step-daughter, Fraces Kitchens of Jasper; son, Bryant Dewayne Watson of Jasper; sister, Hazel Naramore; and five grandchildren.
