Lane is preceded in death by his mother, Melva June Vandiver; grandparents, Carl and Jessie Lane and Charlie and Nellie Lee.
He is survived by his daughter, Danielle Sellers of Menifee, Calif.; son, Kevin Sweeney; father, Lamar Lane; sisters, June Kennedy (Randy), Debbie Skellett (Shawn); Stephanie McKinney (Tim); Granell Smiley (Archey); brothers, Jimmy Lane (Gisele); Tony Lane, Eric Lane, Blake Lane and Grady Vandiver, Jr.
