Barbara Faye Benton Reed, 70, of Quinton died Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at her residence. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. today, Oct. 13, 2010, at Bell Funeral Home with burial in Hopewell Church of God Cemetery in Bessemer. Bro. Robert Coates will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. today at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Reed; sister, Lola Manues; brother-in-law, John Manues; nephew, Michael Manues and niece, Dona Johnson Gay.

She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Campbell and husband Leon of Jasper, Rhonda Levan and husband Terry of Graysville and Carol Reeves and husband Ray of Empire; grandsons, Joseph Campbell of Jasper, Jimmy Levan of Jasper, Shaun Reeves of Empire and Bradley Levan of Graysville; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Nellie Johnson and husband, Euford of Homewood, Shirley Henderson of Cleveland Tenn., Brenda Anderton of Birmingham and Janet Barber and husband Jimmy of Dora; father-in-law, Howard Parsons of Bessemer.
