Project (Arch#202171): Walker County Justice Center Phase I - renovation for interior finishes, lighting additions, electrical modifications, construction of new ADA Restrooms, installation of wheelchair lift, and renovation to include demolition/new construction for approximately 10,920 SF on the Main Level.
A bid bond payable to Walker County, Alabama, in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder’s proposal. Lien Waivers and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract.
Bid Documents may be obtained from the Architect for a non-refundable fee of $25 per CD for CD with drawings and specifications in PDF format. No partial sets, individual pages, or drawings sheets will be provided. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the best and most responsible bidder. Accompanying the general contractor’s submittal containing the above information will be the AIA Form # A305 – Contractor Qualifications questionnaire and attachments.
No bidder may withdraw his or her bid within thirty (30) days after the opening thereof.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site located at 11 18th Street East, Jasper, AL, 35501, on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. CST. Default having been made of the terms of the loan documents secured by that certain mortgage executed by Phillip Jones, And Wife Phyllis Jones to Compass Bank dated October 1, 2002; said mortgage being recorded on October 24, 2002, in Book 1799, Page 266 in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Walker County, Alabama.
The undersigned, PNC Bank, National Association, successor by merger to BBVA USA, formerly known as Compass Bank, under and by virtue of the power of sale contained in said mortgage, will sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash before the main entrance of the Court House in Walker County, Alabama during the legal hours of sale (between 11am and 4pm), on the 18th day of July, 2022 the following property, situated in Walker County, Alabama, to-wit:

Thence turn 49 degrees 12'44" right for a distance of 119.67 feet; thence turn 73 degrees 15'15" left for a distance of 24.90 feet; thence turn 80 degrees 05'45" left for a distance of 55.59 feet; thence turn 65 degrees 35'45" right for a distance of 42.62 feet; thence turn 141 degrees 40'30" left for a distance of 120.67 feet to the point of beginning.
Said property is commonly known as 275 Commerce Ave, Dora, AL 35062.
Should a conflict arise between the property address and the legal description the legal description will control.
