Jimmie Ray Davis, 73, of Savannah, Georgia, (formerly of Nauvoo), went home to be with the Lord Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.
Visitation was held Saturday, July 31, 2021, from 11 a.m. to noon at New Zion Baptist Church in Nauvoo. Funeral services were at noon at the church, with burial to follow at Keeton Cemetery.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, James and Rilda Wilson Davis; and sister, Sharon Davis Kimbrell.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl Louise Davis; son, James Daniel Davis; daughters, Barbara Kenney, Cindy Kenney Poljacik, and Beverly Kenney Dotsey; granddaughter, Carlye Poljacik, grandsons, Blake Poljacik, Donovan Davis and Dylan Dotsey; great-granddaughter, Baylor Grace Boudreau; brother, William (Bill) Davis; sister-in-law, Eloise Tittle Davis; nephew, Frank Davis, and wife, Amy Davis; grand nephew, Will Davis; grand niece, Megan Davis; niece, Felecia Davis Parrish and husband, Brandon; grand nephew, Tucker Parrish; grand niece, Emma Todd; sister-in-law and honorary daughter, Jody Gasaway Wise; brother-in-law, Jim Wise; sister-in-law, Maxine Gasaway Rhineheart and brother-in-law, Landon Rhineheart; nieces, Karen Click and Kim Turner; brother-in-law, Keith Kimbrell; niece, Stacey Kimbrell Robertson; grand niece, Gracie Robertson; grand nephew, Michael Robertson; nephew, Brandon Kimbrell; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
