Local, state covid percentages start to drop

State cases since beginning advancing 1 million cases

Early this week, Walker County and Alabama finally began to see their COVID-19 seven-day positive test percentage go down, as Friday's county rate of 34.4 percent declined to 32.7 percent, and the state rate of 43.6 percent on Friday declined to 41.1 percent.
