Mary Ruth Wright, 95, of Oakman, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Ridgeview Health Services.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Randy Clark will officiate.
Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Myers; mother, Virgie Rutledge Myers; husband, Clifford Wright; sisters, Lilly Moon, Ellen Nix, Gertrude Staggs, Sara Gray and Ann Morris; and brothers, Marion Myers, Robert F. Myers and Louis Myers.
She is survived by her daughter, Gwin Whitt (Steve); son, James C. Wright (Paulette); four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
